White Dahlia Project
The White Dahlia project:
Karen Sistek a fantastic artist from Silk Painters International is running the 'White Dahlia Project' on 20, 21, 22 June 2014, a group participation project for silk painters.
All details are on her website: including a predrawn dahlia, a photograph and permission to download.
Any members taking part can show their work at our guild anniversary event next year!

The Guild of Silk Painters
is an international, non-profit making organisation,
based in Great Britain whose aim is to promote and
inspire the art of silk painting.

Membership of the Guild will provide you, amongst other benefits, with a network of fellow painters of all levels, abilities and locations to share and exchange ideas and information through the Journal and the website.

Artists often work alone and miss the stimulation that
can be gained from creative interchange. The Guild will encourage you, through your local branch, to meet
regularly with other painters for demonstrations, workshops and lectures.

There are also opportunities to showcase members' work both here in the galleries and in the Journal.
