Essex Silk Painters, Sue O'Hea and Michelle Gillam-Hull took Essex's newly completed banner to their stand at the Artist & Illustrator's exhibiton at the Business Design Centre in Islington, central London. Despite concerns and problems with public transport, their colourful stand attracted much interest whilst 216 people had a go at silk painting over the four days. Thanks go to Rainbow silks and Vallejo who kindly donated materials for the have-a-go table.
On Saturday July the 30th the Essex girls were busy again. This time at the beautiful Essex venue of the partially restored Copped Hall where Mandy Southan was the guest tutor for a wonderful Shibori and Arashi workshop.
