Our Branch attended the Hatfield Show this year, Living Crafts gave us the same huge stand as we had last year, and we made the most of it, as you can see below. We were worried that people did not know the dates of the Show which had been postponed because of the foot & mouth outbreak and it was very quiet on the Thursday but after that, it buzzed. 420 people had a go at silk painting! We recruited 13 new members to the Guild, including our first from Japan and many more took away information. My thanks to all the local members who worked so hard, and to the organisers, Living Crafts, who give us such a prestigious space.
