The Guild had a stand again at the Hatfield Living Crafts Show in May. This is the largest craft show in Europe and attracts thousands of visitors. For the first time we were given a pitch in a marquee. Here we had more space, and most importantly, were the first tent that the coach parties found as they left the coach park.
As usual, there was a huge amount of interest in the work of the Guild and 392 people of all ages had a go on the painting tables. Two people signed up for membership on the spot, but many more took away the information leaflets to study later.
