The Guild once again had a stand at the Living Crafts Show in Hatfield, and this year had three tables for have-a-go visitors, a demonstration table and an exhibition on the theme of 'wings' after the spectacular costumes that were painted for the St. Albans Day procession last summer. The Abbey were kind enough to lend us a pair of the wings we painted as part of the display.
Despite a cold and wet weekend (after weeks of dry, hot weather) the numbers were not far below that of last year, and the show provides an excellent shop window for the work of the Guild. Many thanks to all those who took part.
