Beginner's Guide to Silk Painting by Mandy Southan was published in 1997 by Search Press and reprinted early in 1998. It has 64 colourful pages covering fourteen different projects with useful advice for the beginner on equipment, materials and techniques. The book is available in six languages and the sequel "Painting Flowers on Silk" was published by Search Press this year.
