Trained as a Pattern Cutter and worked with such companies as Susan Small,
Berkertex and Wallis. Part time lecturer at Harrow Fashion College. Spent
many years in Italy working in Fashion houses in Rome and Florence as well
as working as a Freelance Designer.

"I became very interested in silk painting
on my return to Britain and have now incorporated silk painting with my
designs. I love colour and tone and specialise in abstract designs. Many
of my designs are embellished with embroidery or small beads. I produce many
ready made original garments and accessories usually sold at craft fairs.
However, as a Designer/pattern cutter many of my garments are private
commissions and are made to measure which gives not only a perfect fit but
an original and exclusive design. Having completed Adult Teacher training, I teach at local adult education centres and am available to teach small groups or give individual lessons." |
