TO SUBMIT WORK TO THE GALLERY

Ian Southan - Website Editor	We feature many artists in our gallery, most of whom will be members of the Guild. Each artist can have a maximum of three pieces selected at any one time, there is no text but the artist is clearly credited by each picture and any potential buyer can make enquiries by email direct to the artist. The email address of each Gallery artist can be found on the Contacts page. If the artist has an independent website we will put a link on our Links page. The criteria for selection are: the work must be original and show originality the work must be painted on silk the quality of the photograph must be good the work should show a good level of craftsmanship and artistry The Editor will select work which meets these criteria. Contact : Ian Southan at website@silkpainters-guild.co.uk The aim of the gallery is to exhibit work which broadly reflects the best in silkpainting today and to further the aims of the Guild. We want people to see what a diversity of styles and techniques there are and to raise the profile of silk painting as an art form on behalf of all silk painters. To email pictures to us - please send them as individual jpegs and check that the image size you are sending is not too big as this increases the file size and the amount of time required to send. If taking a picture of a mounted or framed painting, please ensure that lines are vertical and horizontal to the camera and beware of reflections on glass.
